PILSNER URQUELL LEGENDS – The Day Pilsen Struck Gold
Commissioned by London agency, The Bank, we were asked to produce a 60 second web viral/commercial to celebrate the birthday of Pilsner Urquell (the first ever golden beer to be brewed anywhere in the world.)
To reflect the passion and traditional expertise intrinsic to brewing this distinctive beer, stop-motion animation was considered to be a complimentary means of execution. Where the brewery care about beer, we laboured over animating a book that told its story.
Building on the idea of the legend behind the geographical importance and provenance of Pilsen itself, the sequence was scripted, built and shot in house at Second Home.
