(CITV) How To Trap A Crocodile

‘Share a Story’ is an awesome competition run by CITV to promote writing and drawing creativity in children. Winners get to have their story made into a short film and aired on TV. And of course, we get to have great fun making models, sets, puppets and filming the stories.

The Crocodile Trap’ was written by Leah Faulks. It’s the story of an errant crocodile who lives in the sewers and enjoys biting people on the bum. That is until the hero of the story devises a cunning plan to trap him.

As we had so much fun making this film, we decided to put together a little montage of behind-the-scenes images. You can see modelmaker, Kat Simpson hard at work. The main character, Flint, and the scarecrow were marionette puppets, while Chomp, the crocodile was controlled with rods.
