The Drum Roses Awards Finalist

The Awards

The Drum is a global media platform and biggest marketing website in Europe. Every day they share up-to-the-minute industry news from around the globe. Every month they showcase marketing that is changing the world in their magazine. With bases in Glasgow, London, New York and Singapore, their award-winning journalists inform and inspire our readers, delivering first-class content across all mediums.

Every year The Drum hosts a series of award events to celebrate achievements across the marketing and communications industry. One of their events includes The Roses Awards, which celebrates the fact that the best work need not come from the biggest cities. Emphasising that many of the UK’s most talented creatives work in its regions, as opposed to its capital city.

Finalists in our category include inspiring work from A+C Studios, BBC Creative, Motive Agency, Skylark Media, Aardman and The Leith Agency.

The Girls Who Turned To Water

The Girls Who Turned To Water, is our animated spotlight on the impact dirty water has on thousands of girls’ educations. It is often a girl’s responsibility in a family to walk to collect water (often dirty), resulting in days away from the classroom. Without clean water they miss out on the knowledge to create change.

The Girls Who Turned To Water

Keeping craft at the forefront of the look and feel, we designed and built the puppets, sets and props imbued with a chiseled, textured finish. The water (both dirty and clean) was modeled and animated as in-camera replacements. Take a look at our dedicated portfolio page and read our insights on how this film was brought to life.

This project will not have been possible without the hard work from our crew:
