The team were left beaming at the end of the night as we walked away as the winner of Best Animation for The Flood. Our award was presented to us by BBC TV and Radio personality Richie Anderson.

The Flood
In 2020, we became a development partner for a project within The New Creatives scheme. A scheme supported by Arts Council England and BBC Arts. We had the pleasure of collaborating with new animation and illustration talent Anya Butler. Together, we turned one of her original poems into a short film.
Anya’s idea was to transform her original poem ‘The Flood’ into a short animation. This 4-minute mixed media piece tells the story about the reclusive Mr Blair. He chooses to ignore a drip coming from his ceiling with disastrous consequences. A simple metaphor about ignoring problems until they can no longer be handled.
